Among my fondest memories of Myra Belle, was the pleasure she got in fixing me up with dates when I was single, then checking on how things went the next day. I might add, she had good taste, though nothing serious ever materialized. Also, it was a standard joke between us to keep my shoes polished and to have my teeth whitened. I made sure my shoes were shiny during our visits, but my teeth have yet to reach the pearly stage. Myra Belle was always caring, quick-witted and fun to be around.
