Myrtle Grace Arnois' Obituary
Myrtle Grace Arnois, 103, passed away peacefully on Saturday March 6, 2021 at Homestead of Denison in Denison, Texas. Myrtle was born on February 26, 1918 in Linden, TX. She lived most of her life in Dallas, TX where she was close to her four sisters. She loved travelling and gardening and she was very active in family functions. Although she did not have any children, she helped raise numerous nieces and nephews and frequently attended graduations, recitals, and sporting events. She was an active member of her church and she relied on her faith. She was a fixture at Homestead where she resided for almost 16 years. Her 102nd birthday was notable when the mayor attended her party and declared it Myrtle Arnois Day. She was also voted Valentine’s Queen for 2021. Myrtle was predeceased by her husbands, Tom Collins and Herbert Arnois, four sisters, and one brother. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at Restland on 3/17/2021 at 2:00 in Good Shepherd. Visitation with family will be held at Restland on 3/16/2021 from 3-5 pm.
