Nader Daryapayma's Obituary
"On Thursday, August 27, 2020, Nader Daryapayma, loving husband, father, brother, and beloved grandfather, passed away at home at the young age of 64 after a courageous battle with cancer. Nader was born on August 27, 1956 in Shiraz, Iran to Mansour Daryapayma and Baigum Daryapayma. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and his Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. On August 16, 1986, he married Fariba Sadat Akhavi. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Navid Payma and Nikki Killilea. Nader was an extremely kindhearted and generous person who was always thinking about others before himself and dedicated his life to his family. One of the greatest joys of his life was meeting his grandchildren. He filled every room with laughter and his love of life was only surpassed by his kindness toward others. He was known for his humor, quick wit, and compassion and was adored by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was extremely optimistic and was never discouraged by the challenges that life presented. He was easy to confide in and was always available to provide guidance to those in need. He will be truly missed by those he has left behind. Nader is survived by his wife Fariba, his two children Navid and Nikki, his grandchildren Arthur and Riley, his brothers Nasser Daryapayma, Bahram Daryapayma, Nozar Daryapayma, Reza Daryapayma, and his sister Nahid Abtahi.”
