Nadine Lucille Bierschwale's Obituary
Bierschwale, Nadine Lucille Dyer was born on March 12, 1928, in Tuttle, Oklahoma, and passed away February 11, 2017, in Lucas, Texas. Born in Tuttle, Oklahoma, in 1928, Nadine Lucille Dyer was one of 17 children in a large, blended family. Nadine grew up in and around the towns of Marlow and Altus, Oklahoma, and was part of the 1947 graduating class of Friendship High School in Friendship, Oklahoma. Nadine relocated to Dallas, Texas, where she was a student at Draughon’s Business College, and there she met Willie V Bierschwale, whom she married in 1951. She and her husband made their home in the Oak Cliff area of Dallas, Texas, where they raised their sons, Billy Mack and Gary Don. Nadine was a bookkeeper for GMAC Finance early in her marriage, and later, after becoming a licensed vocational nurse, she worked first at Methodist Hospital in Dallas, and later, after her divorce, she provided nursing care for the inmates at the Lew Sterrett Justice Center in downtown Dallas. Nadine never remarried and retired in 1994. She spent the rest of her active life traveling, shopping, reading, and enjoying her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. After developing Alzheimer’s and suffering from failing health, she lived the last years of her life with her son Gary and his wife Sheri at their home in Lucas, Texas. She died peacefully at home with her son and daughter-in-law on February 11, 2017, following a stroke from which she was unable to recover. Survived by her son, Billy Mack Bierschwale and his wife, Suzanne Elliott Bierschwale of Hewitt, Texas; granddaughter, Amber Lea Bierschwale and her husband, Greg Accidentiale of Illinois; great-granddaughters, Arianna Accidentiale, Jamie Accidentiale; great-grandson Mason Accidentiale; granddaughter, Shannon Kay Bierschwale Lopez and her husband, Jose Lopez of Mexico; great-grandsons, Alex Ryan, Hudson Lopez; step-granddaughter, Hayley Reese and her husband, John Reese; step great-grandsons, Emerson Reese, Nathan Mejia and his wife, Kayla Mejia; step great-granddaughter Kennedy Mejia; step great-grandson, Cole Mejia; son, Gary Don Bierschwale and his wife, Sheri Dobbs Bierschwale of Lucas, Texas; grandson, Gary Jason Bierschwale and his wife, Terra Kellerher Bierschwale of McKinney, Texas; great-grandson, Austin Bierschwale; step great-grandson, Benjamin Kellerher; granddaughter, Kaysie Charlene Bierschwale Crook and her husband, John Cunnick Crook of Allen, Texas; great-grandson, Nate Crook; great-granddaughter, Edie Crook; great-grandson, Cole Crook; granddaughter, Stephanie Hope Bierschwale Hunter and her husband, Jeffery Blake Hunter of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; great-grandsons, Gabriel Hunter, Noah Hunter, Jonah Hunter, Gideon Hunter, Asher Hunter; half-sister, Theresa Opal Dyer Matthews of Oklahoma; sisters, Bobby Ruth Dyer Stover Chester of Oklahoma, Patsy Ann Dyer Dozier Kennett of Oregon, and uncountable host of nieces and nephews. Service for Nadine Bierschwale will be held on February 17, 2017, at 3:00 PM in The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Nadine loved flowers, so those are appropriate; however, friends wanting to make a more enduring memorial may make donations to improve the parking lot of the church Nadine attended: Donations can be made with any smart phone by simply texting the letters LCCC to the number 77977, and simply following the instructions.
