Mr. Naim F Boulos' Obituary
After a courageous battle with cancer, Naim passed away peacefully in his home on May 4, 2023. While our hearts are broken, we are grateful that he helped shape our lives and we will continue to honor his legacy of love and kindness.
Naim was born on October 10, 1943. He lived in Egypt along with his parents Sofie and Fahmey, and siblings Nawal and Nabil. When he moved across the world to Dallas, Texas at the age of 35, he could never have imagined the amazing life that he would create. Naim worked as a geologist for Arco for almost 15 years. On September 4, 1978, he married Gigi Malaty, and was fortunate to spend nearly 45 years with the love of his life. Together they built a beautiful family including one son, Sammy (Mirsa) Boulos, and two daughters, Rhonda (Jerad) Brown, and Mary (Mike) Smith. Naim was blessed with seven grandchildren-Jacob and Matthew Boulos, Layla, Daniel, and Emma Brown, and Hudson and Liam Smith; who loved and adored their Gido. When Naim “retired” in 1992, he decided to try his hand as an entrepreneur-purchasing and operating the successful business we know today as NB Exxon.
While he was extremely hard-working, Naim was no stranger to fun. He loved fishing, traveling, painting and wood-working; and looked forward to Saturdays, which always consisted of dinner and poker night with some of his favorite people. But the one thing Naim could never get enough of was his family. Nothing was more important than sharing his love for them and creating memories with them. Naim Boulos was a remarkable husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was an extraordinary man. He will be remembered often, missed always, and loved forever.
