Nancie Corey's Obituary
GARLAND, TX- Nancie Corey, 65, passed away on March 25, 2018, in Garland, Texas after a long battle with breast cancer. She was born to parents Gerald Corey and Patricia Fitzgerald Corey on September 23, 1952, in Anamosa, Iowa. Nancie graduated from J. J. Pearce High School in Richardson, Texas, Class of 1970. She attended the University of North Texas and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1974 with a degree in Education. Nancie was a dedicated employee of Fiserv for over ten years.Throughout her life, she enjoyed going to movies, Broadway musicals, museums, great meals, time with family, her coffee and laughter.Nancie is preceded in death by her brother-in-law Rob Queen of Great Falls, Montana. Nancie is survived by parents Gerald and Patricia Corey of Richardson, Texas; daughter Megan Milkavich and husband James and her only granddaughter Reagan of Dallas, Texas; son Dane Oviatt of Garland, Texas; sisters: Jill (Lew) Shrier of Austin, Texas; Tracy (Russell) Harbison of Garland, Texas; Kelly Corey of Richardson, Texas and Lynne Corey of Great Falls, Montana; brother Scott (Deana) Corey of Rowlett, Texas and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service for Nancie Corey will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, April 5, 2018, at the Restland Memorial Chapel.The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made in Nancie’s memory to the American Cancer Society or the North Texas Food Bank.
