Nancy Marilyn Asher, 88, of Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2025.
Born on December 28, 1936, in Hartford, Connecticut, to George Wesner and Ann (Lukowski) Wesner, Nancy spent her early years in Bristol, Connecticut, alongside her beloved sister, Win.
On February 15, 1963, Nancy married the love of her life, Gordon B. Asher, in Jackson, Mississippi. Their marriage was a beautiful testament to love and commitment, spanning more than 62 years. Together, they built a life filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering devotion. Nancy was a proud and loving mother to two children, Gregory Baker and Trudy Ann, who were the lights of her life.
Nancy will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her deep love for family, her unwavering faith, and the grace with which she lived her life. Her legacy of kindness and strength will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, George Wesner and Ann (Lukowski) Wesner, and her sister, Win Purrington.
She is survived by her husband, Gordon B. Asher; her son, Gregory B. Asher and wife Kalyn, and their children, Lauren Baker Asher and Reagan Elise Asher; her daughter, Trudy Ann Kembel and husband Ray, and their children, Grayson James Kembel and wife Anna Leigh Kembel, and Garrett Asher Kembel.
A private service will be held to honor her memory.
