Nancy Huff Bradford's Obituary
Nancy Huff Bradford, 89, passed away on May 28, 2016 in Newcastle, Washington. She was born on December 12, 1926 in Wichita, Texas to John Newton Huff and Leah Taylor Huff. Nancy grew up in Wichita Falls, Texas. After high school she attended University of Texas-Austin where she received a BA in Journalism and was a member of the Delta Delta Delta Sorority. She worked for newspapers in Wyoming and Wichita Falls. She later attended the University of Utah where she received a Master of Science in Social Work, and was a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. She worked at Primary Children’s Hospital as a psychiatric social worker. After moving to Dallas she established her private practice as a certified Family Counselor. She formed Huff Creations and with her husband, H. Lee Bradford built custom homes in the Dallas area for many years. Nancy traveled all over the world, always found a way to have fun every day and lived her life to the fullest. She was active in the North Dallas Area Women’s Club, was an avid bridge player, and was active in many local clubs and organizations. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Nancy is survived by her son, Robert Newton Osmond, his wife, Donna, and her grandson, John Wilson Osmond, of Newcastle, Washington. She is also survived by her nephew John N. Huff and his wife Helene of Edmond, Oklahoma, and her niece, Cindy Keinecke of Duncan, OK. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Jack Newton Huff and her husband, H. Lee Bradford. The service for Nancy Bradford will be held at 12:00 PM, Tuesday, June 14, 2016 in The Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home with a visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243. Burial will be in the family plot at Riverside Cemetery, Wichita Falls, Texas on June 15th at 1:00 p.m..
