Nancy Cain Densman's Obituary
Nancy Cain Densman was born on 10-23-1952 and passed away on 10-9-2016 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Preceded in death by her parents Kenneth W. Cain and Ellen B. Cain. She is survived by her two daughters Rachel Benedict of Dallas and Amy Densman of Garland, Tx; two grandsons Austin Benedict and Tyler Estrada USMC; two great-grandchildren Elijah & Elaina Benedict; two sisters- Linda Stringer of Garland and Karen Cain of Santa Fe, NM as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. A graduate of Richardson High School , she briefly attended The University of Albuquerque before returning to Dallas and starting her family. Nancy loved to travel and her adventurous spirit took her all over the world. A dedicated conservationist who loved the outdoors, she believed in doing her part to preserve the environment for future generations. She was a huge fan of both classical and classic rock and loved to dance! Her passing has left an emptiness in the hearts of all who knew and loved her -she will be forever missed. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southern Poverty Law Center. Memorial Service will be held on Monday, October 31, 2016 at 11 AM in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Inurnment will be held at 4:45 PM on Monday, October 31, 2016 in Restland Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted into Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.
