Nancy Conkling Murray, age 79, passed away August 29, 2016. Loving wife of Robert for 53 years. Cherished mother of Frank (Jennifer) Murray and Jim (Andrea) Murray. Caring grandmother of Ryan, Patrick, Elizabeth, and Kendall Murray. Dear sister of Dave (Nan) Conkling. Nancy was a dedicated homemaker volunteering her time to school PTA and to the Bryan Adams High School Band Booster Club. Upon Robert’s retirement, she moved to Granite Shoals, Texas and enjoyed many years at their home on Lake LBJ and traveling with their Gethsemane Lutheran Church friends from Austin. Nancy loved to brag about her grandchildren, and enjoyed many band and choir performances and hockey games in Texas and Michigan. The family will receive friends on Thursday September 1, from 6pm – 8pm at Restland Funeral Home, Dallas, Texas. Family will receive friends on Thursday, September 1, 2016 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Restland Funeral Home,Dallas TX. Services will be held Friday, September 2, 2016 at 2:30PM in The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Lung Association in her name.
