Nancy Evans Elmore's Obituary
Nancy Evans Elmore, aged 85, peacefully passed away with her daughter and son by her side on December 3rd, 2024, in Mansfield, Texas. She was born on October 17th, 1939, in San Antonio, Texas, to Daniel and Marion Evans.
Nancy grew up in Dallas, Texas, and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School. After a long, successful career, she retired from the Internal Revenue Service, District Counsel in 1999. Nancy was an exceptional cook and loved to eat and found joy in cooking for others. She loved playing scrabble with her family and bridge with her friends where she made a tough competitor. She especially enjoyed living in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas with her husband, Richard, after she retired. Even in her final weeks, Nancy still had her same sense of humor.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her loving husband, Richard Elmore.
She is survived by her daughter; Julie Gallegos (Guillermo), her son; John Enlow, and her grandchildren; Bella Gallegos, Rebecca Gallegos, Jacob Gallegos, and Amy Enlow.
A visitation is scheduled for December 9th at 1pm, located at the Restland Funeral Home Wildwood Chapel with funeral services to take place immediately after, beginning at 2pm.
