Nancy Harrison's Obituary
Nancy Marylin Carter Harrison, daughter of Lindley Carter and Helen Chambless. Born on February 6th, 1935, in Seymour, Texas. Went to be with her Lord on December 4th, 2025. Nancy graduated from the University of Texas. She married Naval Officer Joseph W. Harrison, Jr., on September 1, 1958. Together, Joe and Nancy raised 3 children. Carter Wayne Harrison, Tracy Robert Harrison, and Nanette Elaine Harrison.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joe, her firstborn son, Carter, her youngest child, Nanette, her brother, Rea Lindley Carter Jr, and her sister, Carmen Carter Moorehouse. She was a loving grandmother to Tracy and Suzanne LaPierre Harrison's two children. Ocarina Scarlett Harrison (Rina) and Carter John Harrison. She was delighted to welcome two more grandchildren and a great-grandson following her son's marriage to Pearl Love Harrison. Step-grandson, Brandon Perry, and his wife, Amanda, and their son, her step-great-grandson, Jenson Allbee, and her step-granddaughter, Jessica Love.
Nancy was like her mother and grandmother before her, an avid painter. She enjoyed gardening and loved playing games. To her family, Nancy will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. To her family and friends, Nancy will be remembered for her spirited nature and resilience with an unwavering spirit and a contagious laugh until the very end.
