Nancy Brown Lowell's Obituary
Nancy Brown Lowell, 73, passed away March 31, 2020 in Dallas, TX of Natural Causes. She was born June 17, 1946 to parents Wendell Brown and Frances Brown in Bloomington, IN. She married Cym Lowell on June 10, 1967 in Bloomington, IN. They were married for 38 years before they divorced and raised three children together.
She is survived by daughters Whitney Whitehead, Dallas, TX, Susannah West, Fort Collins, CO, son Thomas Lowell, Temple, AZ, grandchildren Davis Lauren Whitehead, 16, Hudson Whitehead, 13 and Nicolas West, 2.
Nancy was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend. She loved to make people laugh and thrived on supporting those she loved. Her activities centered on supporting her children, which included numerous PTA positions, fundraisers and other charitable organizations. Most recently, she taught her granddaughter to drive. Earlier in her life, she was a teacher and proud of helping to integrate elementary students in North Carolina. She enriched the lives of those around her, especially her family. She will be dearly missed.
