Nancy Sue Mooney's Obituary
MOONEY, NANCY, was called home to be with Jesus on February 5, 2007. Born August 24, 1939, in Sinton, Texas, she was a beloved wife, mom, grandmother, sister and friend. She was happily married for 48 years to her husband, Jerry. Not only did she have two daughters, Geri and Cindy, she had many “adopted” children and was “Mom enough for all!” Nancy was educated as an Art teacher and taught inner city children, instilling her love of art to them. Nancy is survived by her husband of 48 years, Dr. Jerry Mooney; daughters, Cindy Rickenbaker & husband Derek and Geri Kim Hutson & husband Jeff; grandchildren, Will Rickenbaker Jr., Gerald Hunter Rickenbaker, Grayson Rickenbaker, Daniel Hutson, Zack Hutson, Sara Hutson, Nathan Hutson and Mattie Hutson. Services will be held at 10 AM, Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at Restland Memorial Chapel. She loved to work and gave freely to the Richardson East Care Corps and the family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the above charity at 1504 E. Campbell Rd., Richardson, TX 75081.
