Nancy Jane Pollard's Obituary
POLLARD, NANCY JANE FISH Went to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ on July 26, 2012 after a courageous two year battle with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. She is now enjoying the ultimate reward of eternal bliss with her Savior. Born February 10, 1935 in Bristol, CT but raised in Mystic, CT, Nancy was a high school cheerleader and senior class vp. She was a bank teller, exec. secretary and stewardess for Delta Airline. She met the love of her life, Tru, a pilot on his very first flight and have been inseparable ever since. They married in 1961 and soon had son, Jeff, followed by daughter, Kelly. She raised her family but also found time to become a world traveler. Nancy enjoyed tennis , but later golf became her delight. Her real passion was interacting with her grandchildren, the apples of her eye. She loved The Lord and cherished her “family” at Grace Bible Church, her bible study group, as well as her golf buddies at Prestonwood Country Club. She has so many friends and valued them all. She is survived by her husband, Tru; son, Jeff and wife Leigh and their son, Pearson; daughter, Kelly and husband Joe and their daughters, Taylor, Chandler, and Hayden. There will be a celebration of Nancy’s life at 11:00am, Saturday, August 4th at Grace Bible Church, 11306 Inwood Rd. in Dallas. We request any donations be made to the building fund at Grace Bible Church. Special thanks to Drs. Rousseau and Christina and nurses, Florida, Thandy, and Erica at Faith Hospice. Isaiah 40:28-31
