Nancy (she will always be Mrs. Sullivan to me) was a remarkable woman who made a lasting impact on everyone she met. Her strong faith and commitment to family, friends, and her community was unwavering and contagious. I was fortunate to live about 4 houses down from the Sullivan?s and grew up with her children Susie, Jennifer, Colleen and Barry on Royal Crest in Richardson, TX. The Sullivan?s house was the one that all the neighborhood kids would go to because there was always something interesting going on – thanks to Nancy. Our neighborhood consisted of many children around the same age and we had lots of fun together. As we got older, the Sullivan?s moved to another part of Richardson and I didn?t stay in touch with them as I wish I had. However, my mother and Mrs. Sullivan kept in touch for many years. Nancy was a great support to my mom before she passed away in 2006. And every year since then, Nancy wrote me a letter describing how special my mom was to her along with words of encouragement and support for our family. I have saved all of those letters as they hold dear memories of a precious past. I feel honored that Mrs. Sullivan was such a special part of my family?s life. God Speed Mrs. Sullivan. You will always be in our hearts. Debbie Kennedy Furr
