Nancy Lou Turner's Obituary
Nancy Lou (Pearson) Turner was born in Plano, Texas on June 9, 1937 and passed away on November 8, 2014 in Sunnyvale, Texas. She was married on August 22, 1953. The visitation will be held on Monday, November 10, 2014 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral service to be held Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. at The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. A 52 year resident of Mesquite, Texas, a very active and popular member of Oats Drive Baptist Church. She met the love of her life, Roland on a playground and they shared 62 years of marriage as loving soul mates. She was an employee of Southwestern Bell for ten years. Then went to work for Lone Star Gas, where she retired after 28 years of service. She was very involved in her kid’s and grandkid’s lives attending all their games and events. A dearly cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt that will be dearly missed. We are shocked and in disbelief of her sudden passing. We are so thankful that she did not suffer in length. Mom always listened close and always gave her thoughts and opinions, whether you wanted them or not. She was usually correct! She was a good and blessed person, a Child of the Lord. We are so thankful to be absolutely sure about that. Our family is so thankful for the knowledge of assurance that the Lord has a place in heaven for our eternity, and that we will someday see our love ones in heaven. Survivors include: Roland C.
