Nancy Ann Weller's Obituary
A life well lived, our loving mother, Nancy Ann Yager Weller, 90, passed away, peacefully under hospice care at the home of her daughter in Wylie, TX on April 12, 2023.
She was loved by everyone. A fully devoted mom and wife. Always sweet and good-natured. She never had an unkind word to say, teaching us “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all”. A messenger of Love. A warm smile for all and a sunny disposition. She was gracious and good humored to the end.
Nancy was born October 11, 1932, in Newark, NJ, to parents William Alfred and Ruth Wesley Yager. She attended Lasell College and graduated with an associate degree in nutrition. She was married in July of 1953 to the late John Corbin Weller. A marriage of 61 years. She devoted much of her time to family, entertaining and attentively raising her children.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father; her loving husband, John and her son, William Steven Weller.
She is survived by her brother, William Yager Jr. and his wife Carol of Vail, AZ; son John H. Weller and his wife Leah of Garland; daughter Karen Klugh and her husband of Jim of Wylie, TX; six grandchildren, Bridger, Natalie, and Matthew Weller, James Klugh, and Hutson and Greyson Weller; five nieces and nephews; and many close friends.
We would especially like to thank Genevieve Kpelly for her devoted caregiving and friendship.
Nancy will be cremated and will be buried next to her husband and mother and father at Restland Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX during a private gravesite memorial service on April 29, 2023.
