Naomi Rose Matney's Obituary
Naomi Rose Matney of Corinth, Texas passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 22, 2018 at the age of 68. She was born on December 10, 1949 in Tucson, Arizona to Werner Lee Heider and Genelle Heider. Naomi married her high school sweetheart Paul Matney in 1966 in Dallas, Texas. Naomi was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She will be remembered for her laughter, bubbly personality, and love, along with her passion for scrapbooking and homemade greeting cards. More than anything she enjoyed her family and the time they spent together. Naomi is survived by her husband of 51 years, Paul Matney, daughter Michelle Matney; sons, Scott Matney and his wife Pamela, David Matney and his wife Rhonda; sisters, Debbie Heim and Linda Green; brothers, Kenneth Heider and Roger Heider; three grandchildren, Lacy Miles, Leah Matney and Caison Matney. She was preceded in death by her parents, Werner Lee and Genelle Heider. Family will receive friends on Friday, January 26, 2018 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 12:00 P.M. at Restland Cemetery in the Abbey Chapel in Dallas, Texas.
