Naomi Opra Peterson, age 98, passed away peacefully on Sunday May 19, 2019 in Wylie, Texas. Naomi Opra Peterson was born on September 1, 1920, to her loving and thoughtful parents Gulie and Vera Grisham in Dekalb, TX. She married Carl Peterson on March 4, 1942 in Dalton, TX. Naomi Opra Peterson will be sincerely missed by her loving family, her devoted friends and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved her.Naomi is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Peterson and Grandson Christopher Peterson.She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Lewis of Murphy, TX, her son, Ed Peterson of Wylie, TX; sisters, Reta Voss of Hixson, Tenn, Ennice Rogers of Hughes Springs, TX, and Ladell Strafaci of Fairfield Bay, Ark., 4 grandsons and 2 granddaughters.At this time,a funeral service for Naomi Opra Peterson is scheduled for Saturday May 25, 2019 at 12:30pm at Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.Funeral arrangements for Naomi Opra Peterson have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Ave., at the intersection of Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243, and can be reached at (972) 238-7111.
