Naomi Sue Fluke's Obituary
Naomi Sue Fluke, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother was born August 3, 1923, in Escondido California and passed away March 26, 2017, in Galveston, Texas. She is preceded in death by Her Husband of 71 years Donald Lee Fluke, Mother Mabel Wright, Father Abner Hall Wright; Sister Eula Mae Guthrie and Brother Lewis Oliver Wright. Survived by Son Marty Fluke, Galveston Texas, Daughter in Law Jackie Fluke, Galveston Texas, Daughter Sandra Kirby, Dallas Texas, Brother Robert James Wright Dallas, Texas, Grandchildren Elizabeth Fuller, New York, NY, Emily Brannen, Dallas, Texas, Jimmy Fluke, Galveston Texas, Jessica Fluke, College Station Texas and Great Grandchildren Olivia Fuller and Jack Fuller New York, NY. Mrs. Fluke was born in Escondido, California and spent most of her life in the Dallas area. She spent the last 5 years living in The Meridian Retirement Community in Galveston Texas. She was an active bridge player and enjoyed playing with her many close friends. She graduated from Adamson High School in 1940 and spent many years as a bookkeeper. She was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Oak Cliff. She will be missed by her family and friends. The family will receive friends on March 30th, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held on March 31st, 2017 at 9:30 AM at The DFW National Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Heart Association.
