Natale Joseph DeGaetano's Obituary
In Loving Memory of Natale Joseph DeGaetano
Natale Joseph DeGaetano, aged 81, passed away on October 24, 2023, in Lewisville, TX. He was born on August 8, 1942, in Brooklyn, New York, to his loving parents Anne and Natale DeGaetano, Sr.
Natale's life was marked by love, dedication, and a passion for helping others. He found his true love, Delia Tirado, and they celebrated their union in marriage on February 19, 1966. Together, for 57 years, they nurtured their three sons in Wantagh before moving to Lewisville, Texas, in 2006. Natale's commitment to service was unwavering, and he volunteered wherever possible, leaving a lasting impact on those he touched. He was a devoted member of the YMCA and actively participated in St. Philips and St. Ann Church communities.
Natale is now reunited with his loved ones who went before him, including his parents, Natale and Anne DeGaetano, his grandparents Giuseppina and Giuseppe, his brothers Joey and Joseph, his sisters Honey and Mary, niece Debbie, niece Patty, and his beloved wife, Delia DeGaetano.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will be cherished by his surviving family, including his sister Denise and her husband Brian Moley, his sons Michael DeGaetano-Rich, Matthew Joseph DeGaetano, and Geno Anthony DeGaetano, as well as his grandchildren, Joseph Michael, Anthony Natale DeGaetano, Gianna Isabella, and Nicolas Vincent. He is also survived by his nephews John, Marc, and Joseph and nieces Marta, Elbita, Paula, Erika, Dawn, Sandi, Robin, Rachel, and Nina, and he is also survived by his daughter-in-laws Donna Marie, Ana Lucia, and Rosie. He was also cared for by Sandy Garcia and her family; she put in many exhaustive hours with love and gentle care while watching for Delia and Natale during their times of need, in addition to a host of family and friends who will hold his memory close to their hearts.
