Ms. Nelma Faye Epley, 82, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 22, 2019, in Rockwall, Texas. She was born on Wednesday, July 21, 1937, to her loving and thoughtful parents, Lonnie Lovelace and Essie Lovelace in Dallas, Texas. Ms. Nelma Faye Epley will be sincerely missed by her loving family, her devoted friends and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved her.She married Joe Epley on February 10, 1962 in Dallas, Texas. Nelma and Joe were in the grocery business. They raised and showed Peruvian Paso Horses.She is survived by daughter Cynthia Ann Schrock, grandchildren Chad, Charles, Michelle Dupree, sister Tommie Fairless, numerous nieces & nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Epley , her son Billie Joe Epley and sister Maxine Harper.Nelma’s house was where we all met for many occasions from barn dances, Christmas, July 4th to Father’s Day. Nelma was happiest when surrounded by family and friends. She was generous and was always there if we needed her. She will be missed by all of us.Visitation for Ms. Nelma Faye Epley will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2019 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at Restland Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 12:00 PM in the Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 75243.Funeral arrangements for Ms. Nelma Faye Epley have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Ave., at the intersection of Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243, and can be reached at (972) 238-7111.Donations can be made in Nelma’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Hospital and the Salvation Army.
