Ms. Nelma Shaw, age 95, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, in Dallas, Texas. She was born to Mr. Roy Oscar Curtis and Ms. Sylvia Jo Spinks on Sunday, May 15, 1927, in Lewisville, Texas. Nelma leaves behind daughters Beverly Thomas, and Shirley Thrall; sister Pauline Terrell; grandchildren Bryan Thomas, Brianna Long, Jeremy NIchols, Kelly Nichols; and great grandchildren Katelyn Long, Kelsey Long, Christopher Nichols, and Elizabeth Nichols.
She is preceded in death by spouses, Hiram Carpenter, and Sam Shaw; parents Roy Curtis and Sylvia Spinks; brother Joe Curtis; and sister Barbara Gibbs.
Services for Ms. Nelma Shaw will be held Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at 10a in Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. A visitation will be held one hour prior at 9a.
