Nepha Bonner Love's Obituary
Nepha Bonner Love was born July 14, 1927, to the parentage of Elnora Bonner and Wesley Huel, in Dallas, TX. From childhood through adulthood, Nepha enjoyed a close relationship with her grandparents Ed and Gussie Bonner. The couple spent a lot of time with Nepha and instilled in her a strong sense of integrity, a love of God and family and a pursuit of Christian living.
As a young girl Nepha attended Dallas County Public Schools in the Vickery ISD where she graduated from Anderson Bonner High School. She went on to study at Dillard University in New Orleans, Louisiana and later graduated from Prairie View A&M University with a degree in Elementary Education. Upon graduation she began a teaching career in Huntsville, Texas where she became reacquainted with, and later married, John Samuel Love whom she had met while the two were students at Prairie View. She later went on to open Anderson Bonner Day Nursery School where she was dedicated to caring for the children until retiring after 16 years of operations.
Nepha was a lifetime member of Christian Chaple C.M.E Church later named Christian Chaple Temple of Faith (CCTOF) where she faithfully served over the years as a church secretary, member of the Stewardess Board, Women’s Missionary President and was still a active and faithful member attending church each Sunday until her demise. She served on the board of trustees for the Garden of Memories Cemetery for over 50 years.
Nepha was preceded in death by her grandparents Ed and Gussie Bonner, both parents Elnora Bonner and Wesley Huel; her loving husband of over 50 years John S. Love; her sisters Mollie Averia Suber, Everlee Suber, Jewel Norvell Castle, and brothers Glen Elmore Suber, Bobbie Dee Suber and Claude Biggins.
Leaving to cherish her memories: nieces, Vanessa Johnson (Thomas), Charlotte Evans (William), Phyllis Jones; nephews, Barney G. Suber, Cedric Norvell and Antonia Suber; brother Clyde Biggins; Sister-in-law Clara Holman; great-nephews Keon Suber, Deontay Suber, Cedric Norvell II, Barney J. Suber; great-nieces Tiffany Clark (Hakeem); Nepha Mollia Evans, Kyla Suber; great great-nieces Madison Suber, Sydney Suber, Jordan Clark; and great-nephews, Trenton Suber, Shane Suber, Kyron Evans; a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
