Neta L. Tyler Maston

Neta Lou Tyler Maston, age 91, of Garland, TX passed from this life in her daughter & son-in-law’s home in Heath, TX to her Heavenly Home on April 20, 2020.
Neta was born in Honey Grove, Fannin County, TX, on November 7, 1928 to Harry Tracy Tyler and Eva Laura Renee Isaacs Tyler, the 6th of 11 children. Her 8th great grandfather was William Bradford, a Mayflower Pilgrim, signatory to the Mayflower Compact, and Governor of the Plymouth Colony.
Neta grew up and graduated high school in Pecos, TX where she met and married Doyle L. Maston. She worked in Pecos for many years as a bookkeeper for a small accounting firm. Neta and her family moved from Pecos to San Angelo, TX and from there to Garland, TX where she has lived since 1965. In Garland, she worked as an accountant for Byer-Rolnick Hats, Arnold and Morgan Music Co., Master Photo and, for about 30 yrs., Southside Assembly of God Church in Garland. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend. God and family were always first in her life, she truly led by example.
She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Linda Dian Maston; son, Darrell Lynn Maston; and husband, Doyle LaVerne Maston, Sr.; 3 Sisters, Dorothy L. Musick, Annie M. Smith, and Mary Kathleen Ashing; 5 brothers, H.T. Tyler, Jr., Homer R. Tyler, George H. Tyler, James J. Tyler, and Leonard L. Tyler.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra L. and husband Roger A. Poore of Heath, TX, son, Doyle LaVerne Maston, Jr. of Denton, TX; Daughter-in-Law Brenda L. Marshall Maston of Garland; Granddaughter, Wesley L. and husband Joe Harris of Rockwall, TX; Great Granddaughter Grace L. Wood of Rockwall, TX; 2 sisters, Joanne and husband Tommy Carpenter of Mountain Home, AR and Jeannette and husband Dwayne Pettit of Dallas, TX; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews, other family and friends who will miss her greatly.
Funeral Services will be held at Restland Funeral Home Friday May 1, 2020 2:00pm at Restland Funeral Home Memorial Chapel (Covid rules apply so invitation only at this time) 13005 Greenville Ave Dallas, TX 75243
Pastor William M. Forman of Oklahoma will be officiating.
Graveside Services will be at Restland next to her husband, Doyle Maston in Veterans II Garden
