Nettie Juanita Gordon Demings' Obituary
Sister Demings was born October 13, 1919, to Henry and Lillie Belle Gordon in Rowlett Texas.Later residing in Dallas Texas attended Dallas public schools and graduated from Booker T. Washington high school then attended college for 2-years. Later in life, she accepted Jesus Christ and was ordained as an evangelist and bringing God’s word.She was employed at SMU as a house cook where she prepared meals for Phi Beta Phi 10 -15 years. Later attended Eastfield College for preparing to care for Alzheimer’s persons.Retired from Senior Source of Greater Dallas after having a stroke. She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Anna B. Long Hill, and son Henry Anthony Long. In-Laws. Cheryl Long and Willie Hart, three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Belle Gordon, Melvin Edward Long and Odell Deming. Two siblings, W. L.
