Neva Nell Ward Grimes' Obituary
Neva Nell Ward Grimes was born in Dike, Texas on August 28, 1926 to George W. and Lillie Mae Ward. She and Jack R. Grimes met on a blind date shortly after WW II and married on June 8, 1947. Nell loved young children and delighted in teaching pre-school Bible classes. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Jack, two daughters, Piper, and her husband David Autery and Penny and her husband, Robert Bellomy; four grandchildren and two beloved great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, June 12, 2011 from 2-4 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Monday, June 13, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. in Restland’s Memorial Chapel.
