Neyl Jones Spitler's Obituary
SPITLER, NEYL JONES, 98, was born September 3, 1914 in Commerce, TX to the late Curtis Leroy Jones and Lucy Alice Farrow Jones. She left to be with God on April 12, 2013, from Juliette Fowler Home in Dallas, TX. She married Cecil Stewart Spitler in Conroe, TX in 1933. They lived in Lufkin, Commerce and in 1943 they moved to Dallas, TX where she lived until her death. She was a long time member of Lakeview Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Cecil Spitler; brothers, Dial Leroy Jones, Floyd Alcott Jones; sisters, Frances Ellen Poston Sparkman, Hattie Lorraine Patton Dearing; and granddaughter, Suzanne Peyton. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Francyse and Jack Hamilton of Athens, Lucie and Gene Carleton of Dallas; son and daughter-in-law, Stanley and Shirley Spitler of Dallas; six grandchildren and nieces and nephews. If desired, memorials may be given to Juliette Fowler Homes in her name. Visitation will be at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas TX 75243, on Sunday April 14, 2013 from 2-4 PM. Memorial service will be held in Restland Abbey Chapel on Monday April 15 at 12 noon.
