Nguyen Trong Dat's Obituary
Our family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Nguyen Trong Dat with relatives and friends far and near.
Dat was born in 1942 in Dong Lao village, Ha Dong province. His family then migrated South in March 1955.
Dat graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1966 from Saigon University of Arts and Science, then he proceeded to graduate with a Master of Public Administration in 1969 from the National Academy of Public Administration.
He taught and worked as a civil servant for the government of the Republic of Vietnam from 1964 to 1965 and at a rehabilitation prison from 1975 to 1980. Dat came to the United States as an immigrant in 1990.
Trong Dat passed away at 2:35 p.m. on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Medical City of Arlington. He was 81 years old.
The Visitation and Funeral for Nguyen Trong Dat will be at Restland, 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas Texas, 75243. He will be interred at Restland Cemetery.

Nhà Văn Trọng Đạt tên thật là Nguyễn Trọng Đạt.
Sinh năm 1942 lại làng Đông Lao, tỉnh Hà Đông. Theo gia đình di cư vào Nam
tháng 3 năm 1955.
-Tốt nghiệp cử nhân Văn Chương năm 1966 tại Đại Học Văn Khoa Saigon
-Tốt nghiệp Cao học Hành Chánh năm 1969 tại Học viện Quốc Gia Hành Chánh năm 1969
-Dạy học, làm công chức cho chính phủ Việt Nam Cộng Hòa từ năm 1964 đến năm 1965
-Tù cải tạo từ năm 1975 đến năm 1980
-Đến Mỹ diện HO năm 1990
Đã từ trần lúc 2 giờ 35 phút chiều Thứ Bảy ngày 30 tháng 9 năm 2023
Tại Bệnh viện Medical City of Arlington, Texas
Hưởng thọ 82 tuổi
