Nikolas Scott Gallegos' Obituary
born June 20, 1989 in Mesquite, TX, passed away October 7, 2007 in Nacogdoches, TX. Nikolas was a 2007 graduate of Poteet High School and attended Stephen F. Austin University where he was a freshman and a TKE fraternity brother. Though he lived a short time, Nikolas lived a very full life and touched many souls. Nikolas is preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Richard Terry and his great-grandparents, Angelus Brucardt and Ida Ingram. He is survived by his parents, Floyd and Cassinda Gallegos; brothers, Joshua and Nathaniel; paternal grandparents, Luis and Judith Gallegos; maternal grandmother, Connie Terry; paternal great-grandparents, Floyd and Carmen Gallegos; maternal great-grandmother, Audrey Terry; five uncles, four aunts, eight cousins, numerous great-aunts and great-uncles and a host of other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, October 11, 2007 at Mimosa Lane Baptist Church, 1233 N. Belt Line Rd., Mesquite, TX 75149. The family will receive family and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at Restland Funeral Home. Donations in Nikolas’ memory may be made to Stephen F. Austin Alumni, TKE Memorial Scholarship Fund, 6096-SFA Station, Nacogdoches, TX 75962.
