Nina Marie Beavan's Obituary
Nina Marie Beavan loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother passed away in her sleep early morning on Saturday, September 6, 2014. She was born October 9, 1933 in South Wilmington, Illinois to John and Alice Flemm. Nina had an amazing marriage of sixty two years to Edward Beavan. With Edward she gave birth to Bonnie, Sally, Edward, William, Scott and Susan. Nina was a devote Catholic who raised all her children in the church. Nina was a truly loving and caring mother. She would be there for her children no matter what they needed. If meant driving to a sporting event, school event, or anything her children needed she was there. Not only was Nina an incredible wife and mother she excelled in the work place. She worked for General Telephone for many years before moving onto Duetch Electronics where she excelled in sales. She finished her career coming to work with her husband at Aid Electronics before she retired. Nina loved swimming as child and talked of it on numerous occasions. She bowled for many years. She loved to dance with her husband Ed. She loved the slot machines. She could stay up for hours playing them. It became her vacation place. Good food and the bright lights. She is preceded in death by her father, mother, and brother (John Flemm). She is survived by her husband (Edward); brothers Robert Flemm and Raymond Flemm; children, Bonnie, Sally, Edward, William, Scott and Susan; her children’s spouses, Stephen Scott, Tina Beavan, Michele Beavan, Donna Beavan And Russell Jordan; grandchildren, James Neal, Sherry Neal, Stephen Scott, Emily Scott, Brookes Beavan, Matthew Baskette, Wes Fritz, Steven Fritz, Blake Beavan, Brent Beavan, Paige Beavan, Bria Beavan, Nicholas Jordan, Amanda Jordan, and Thomas Jordan; great grandchildren, Christina Berry, Johnathan Berry, Lance Berry, Lucas Jordan, Ava Collins, Faith Fritz, Payton Fritz, Hannah Cook, Schylar Cook, and Zaniah Fritz. The visitation for Nina will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday,September 10, 2014 in The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. The memorial service for Nina will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 11, 2014 in The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75238.
