Mrs. Nina Adelaide Dees' Obituary
DEES, NINA A. Born August 19, 1919 in Dallas, TX, passed away April 6, 2007 in Richardson, TX. Nina graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School. She worked for a law firm and for the Department Of The Navy in Alameda, CA while her husband was stationed there during World War II. She was a Realtor with Phil Ross Realtors and later, with Russell Dees Real Estate. Nina lived in the Lake Highland area since 1959, and with her husband, Russell, was very active from the early days of Lake Highlands High School, were Co-Presidents of the of the Lake Highlands JR-SR High School PTA, and were Charter Members & Co-Presidents of the Lake Highlands Band Booster Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Russell Dees. She is survived by her son, Michael Dees and James Dees and wife, Brenda; Grandson, Ian Dees and family Lynn and Avalon and Grandson, Andrew Dees. She will be missed by her family especially her special touch on family occasions. Graveside service will be held at 1:30 P.M., Monday, April 9, 2007 at Restland Memorial Park, Dallas, TX.
