Nina Margaret Foran's Obituary
Mrs. Nina Margaret “Peggy” Foran, age 95, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, in Royse City, Texas. A memorial service will be held at Firewheel Bible Fellowship at 3 pm on Sunday, March 10, 2024, in Rowlett, Texas. Interment was at Restland Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
Peggy was born to John Benjamin Hancock and Nina Mae Davis, on Sunday, February 3, 1929, El Paso, Texas. She was married to Charles Davis Foran on July 2, 1949, in Dallas, Texas. Peggy was a faithful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and active in her church, Reinhardt Bible Church, now known as Firewheel Bible Church. She was known for her love of flowers, travel, friendships and many mediums of painting, especially watercolor.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Davis Foran, and brothers, John Benjamin “Benny” Hancock and Charles Raymond “Buddy” Hancock. Surviving children are Sharon Hogan, of Royse City, Texas, (deceased husband), Danny Hogan; Dave Foran and wife, Vicki Foran; Meg Skinner and husband, Scot Skinner of Dallas, Texas. Grandchildren are Christopher Elliott and wife Naomi Elliott, of Royse City, Texas; Johnna O’Brien and husband, Thomas O’Brien, of Melissa, Texas; Holly Beier and husband Joshua Beier, Tomball, Texas; Carrie Taylor and husband Matthew Taylor, missionaries; Chad Foran; Caroline Reddick and husband, Kelsey Reddick of Plano, Texas; Nathan Skinner and wife, Katie Skinner of Richardson, Texas. She is survived by seventeen great grandchildren.
