Nita Avis Pierce's Obituary
PIERCE, NITA AVIS Danced into Glory on Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Nita was born May 2, 1942. She was preceded to Glory by her father, Vernon A. Pierce; her mother, Mildred O. Easley Pierce, sister, Nedra Johnson, and her son, James Keith Lewis. Nita is survived by her sisters, Yvonne Miller and husband Richard, Patricia Johnson, Annette Pierce Runnels and grandson, James Scott Lewis. There are also a host of nephews, nieces, extended family and family of friends who love her dearly. Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Friday, October 30, 2009 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be 12:30 PM, Saturday, October 31, 2009 at Restland Memorial Chapel.
