Nola Nadine Washington's Obituary
Nadine was 89 years of age at the time of her death. She resided in Irving, Texas. She passed away June 24th at 9:05am at her home in Irving. She was born on March 22, 1931, in El Paso, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her father, O.F. Tawwater, mother Lydia Gladys Good, her husband of 56 years William Parker Washington and her daughter Laura Washington.
She is survived by children; Carol Lontos, Brenda Riechle, Marsha Gentry, Bob Washington, Bill Washington Jr, 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren, plus one on the way.
Nadine attended Margaret B. Henderson Elementary, W.E. Greiner Middle School and Sunset High School. She worked for Temco, goodyear, Irving ISD as and attendance clerk and retired from Baylor Irving Healthcare Systems where she worked in patient accounts.
Nadine enjoyed anything that meant getting the whole family together. She loved Thanksgiving and especially Christmas. She went all out decorating her home for Christmas.Nadine did some painting and dabbled in many crafts. She loved Country Music and her favorite song was” He Stopped Loving Her Today”. She had a wonderful sense of humor.
She was dearly loved and will be missed by many.
