Garland, TX- Nora LaVerne Irby, 79, was born to parents, O’Dell Sep Smith and Nora Lena Harris on April 25, 1938, in Portales, New Mexico. She passed away on February 6, 2018, in Dallas, Texas. The family request that visiting hours be observed at Restland Funeral Home from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, February 9, 2018. A funeral service for Nora will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, February 10, 2018, at South Garland Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery.
