Born May 10, 1915 in Waxahachie, TX and passed away February 24, 2009 in Dallas, Tx. Norene was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, John Newman. She is survived by her daughter, Lana Grimes and husband, George; her son, Tommy Newman and wife, Beverley; 5 grandchildren: Mark Grimes and wife, Arlene, Steven Grimes, Charlie Newman and wife, Larissa, Michael and Beau Newman; 2 great grandsons: Bryson and Beau Newman and other family members. Graveside service will be held at 11:00AM, Wednesday, February 25, 2009 in Restland Memorial Park with visitation 1 hour prior to service at Restland Funeral Home.
