Norma Henslee Frazier's Obituary
FRAZIER, NORMA HENSLEE born August 4, 1926 in Merit Texas. She is the daughter of Robert Burlon Henslee and Gladys Virginia Baker. At the age of 12, on January 23, 1939, Norma was received into the institutional community of Buckner Orphan’s Home in Dallas, TX., and stayed until May 31, 1946. Norma married Johnnie Andrew Frazier on August 29, 1950 in Oklahoma City. She has two brothers, Ewell Burlon Henslee (deceased) of Fort Worth, TX, Ira Lee Henslee of Fort Stockton, TX; one sister , Wanda Louise Henslee of Greenville TX. She had three children, Margaret Ann Davis of Bedford, TX, Norma Darlene Brahmi of Dallas TX and son, Johnny Andrew Frazier Jr. of West Hollywood, CA. She has five grandchildren, Jamie Arnst of Sugarland, TX, Lori Davis of Otisville, NY, Alisha Brahmi of Lake Lavon, TX, Preston Brahmi of Dallas, TX, and Tara Brahmi of Dallas, TX; two great grandchildren, Paul Arnst and Kaelyn Brahmi; one great-great grandchild, “Baby” Fiona Elsie Arnst just born September 17, 2012. She worked with Sears Roebuck & Co. from 1946-1985 in Department 150 as Department Head. She was a member of the Sears Lucky Retiree Club which she served as President in 1991. She loved country western music, dancing and spent much of her time at the famous Longhorn Ballroom and the VFW, with her music friends. She was an active member of the Bucker Alumni and shared her laughter and love of life with so many close relatives and friends. Norma was married 47 years to Johnnie and became a member of the Surviving Widows Club at Heights Baptist Church after Johnnie died in 1997. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 6, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home and services will be Thursday, March 7, 2013 at 11:00 AM Restland Memorial Chapel.
