Norma Lee Hunter's Obituary
Norma Lee Hunter was born on January 11th, 1933 in Mineola to the late Raymond Flewellen and Pauline Rickard. She was called to Christ in her early years and from that day forward, she maintained her commitment while living the life of an exemplary child of God.
Enterprising with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, along with her late husband Odell, she co-founded Hunter Maintenance, Inc and Hunter Repair Service. Through these ventures, she embraced the opportunity to positively influence lives while delivering service with the highest level of integrity.
A graduate of the Dallas Independent School District, she became a pillar of her community. Known for her love of people, soap operas and professional wrestling, her infectious smile and sense of humor made her a joy to all who had the pleasure of spending time with her. To know her was to love her and over the years, she came to be known as an aunt to everyone.
Norma was preceded in death by her mother, father, her husband Odell Hunter, and her brother Edward Baker. She leaves the cherish her memory her sister Roe Ann Glaspie (Herman) of Mesquite, Texas, and a host of loved ones.
Visitation will be Friday, August 14, 2020 at 1:00 PM in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held Friday, August 14, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
