Norma Rose Kemmet's Obituary
Norma Rose Kemmet passed away peacefully at home with her husband and children surrounding her after medical complications. She received her eternal angel wings on January 13, 2026. Norma was born on December 24, 1938, to Wilmer Dean & Rose Amanda Marrs. (Both parents proceeded Norma in death. Norma was the oldest of four children. She was also proceeded in death by her younger brother Carl Marrs.
Norma leaves behind her husband of 66 years Wilmar Duane Kemmet, her son Tony (wife Nancy) Kemmet, her daughter Tammy ( husband Gus) Neinast ; her brother Wilmar (Wife Celia) Marrs, her sisters Fayella McCaw, three grandchildren Jennifer Caldwell, Aj Kemmet, Daniel Kemmet, three great-grandchildren Eleanor & Hannah Caldwell & Clark Kemmet ; nieces and nephews Leann Theiss, Frank Marrs, Marion Creviston, Bridget Uhles, Angela Dyer, Shelly Bencze (proceeded in death), Jason Marrs, Greg Kemmet, Lyndee Kemmet, Jackie Lehnzhert, Kristie Halverson, Kurtis Kemmet and many great nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be on January 22, 2026, at Restland Funeral Home 13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, Texas 75243. Viewing hours are from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Funeral services will be on January 23, 2026, at Resurrection Lutheran Church 1919 Independence parkway Plano, Texas 75075. Service will begin at 10am.
Interment will be on January 27, 2026, at 1:15 pm at the Dallas- Ft Worth National Cemetery at 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.
in Lieu of flowers being placed graveside a donation to the Wounded Warriors foundation may be made in Norma Kemmet's name.
