Norma Lee Walker Perez's Obituary
The world lost a beloved wife and mother, Norma Lee Walker Perez, on March 2, 2021 at the age of 68. Norma was born on January 2, 1953 in Dallas, Texas to Ray Benjamin Walker and Cherry Jane Jordan. She graduated from Richardson High School in 1970.
Norma met her husband, Enrique "Henry" Perez when they were 16 years old and later married on December 15, 1971. She soon discovered her love of travel as she and Henry traveled the world and lived overseas for many years. While living in Germany, Norma worked to help other military families and continued to help others throughout her life. She gave to others without thought and it was normal for her to help those in need.
Norma and Henry had three children together, daughter Erika Portillo and her husband Frankie, daughter Anjelina Perez, and son Ricardo Perez and wife Brandy. Norma's pride and joy were her grandchildren Veronika, Matthew, Jordan, Ethan, Dylan and Logan. Norma is also survived by her beloved sister Sheila Duffy and brother in-law Craig Duffy.
She is preceded in death by her parents and grandson Liam Perez.
Norma will be greatly missed but was very spiritual and believed we should all be happy for her as she will be flying through the beautiful Alps with a first class view of her favorite place.
