Norma Jeanette Yates' Obituary
Norma Jeanette Yates, 86, of Carrollton, Texas passed away on August 24, 2017, in Carrollton, Texas of natural causes. She was born August 25, 1930, to George and Bessie Brandenburg in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She married Floyd Wayne Yates on August 27, 1951, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was a nurse in school and homemaker for 40 years. Norma is survived by two daughters, Barbara Yates Dudding of Lakewood, Colorado and Pamela Anderson of Carrollton, Texas and son-in-law Noble Goossen. She had 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Wayne Yates, and daughter, Beverly Goossen. She enjoyed playing golf at Quincy Country Club, hosting parties, traveling extensively throughout the world and she was a member of a local bowling league. She will be dearly missed by friends and loved ones.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
