Norman Walter Bircher's Obituary
BIRCHER, NORMAN WALTER Beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Norman was born July 13, 1929 at Methodist Hospital Dallas, to Joe S. Bircher and Winnie Mae “Buddie” Bircher, and died peacefully in Dallas September 16, 2007, with his loving wife, Marca Lee (Bryant) Bircher at his side. He is preceded in death by a son, Lance Clayton Bircher, and is suravived by a son, Preston Lee Bircher, and two grandchildren, Heather and Clayton. He is an alumnus of Highland Park High School, Abilene Christian University and Southern Methodist University. After college, he worked for Eastman Kodak Company based in Little Rock, Arkansas, until he and his father established Home Workshop Tools of Dallas. After the death of his father, he closed the business and went to work for the W.A. Tayloe Company, until his retirement in 2001. A devoted Christian, he is now at peace, and safe in the arms of his Lord.
