I began working for Celanese at the Chemcel Plant in Bishop in January of 1963 and Norman was one of the first people I met during my orientation. Although we never worked closely together, I always considered him a friend. He was always thoughtful, sincere and considerate – qualities that I appreciated very much. I will cherish my memories of Norman, and your family has my prayers at this difficult time. John Kile
I worked at Celanese in Dallas for only 3 years in the 1990's but I had the pleasure of working with Norman during that time. He was certainly a hard worker and extremely knowledgeable. I knew that he had worked for Celanese previously but we never really discussed it. What an interesting life he had! I regret that I did not know his history because I would have loved to have talked to him about it. My thoughts are with his family at this time. Benita Barnard
