Norman Fredrick Harris, 96, of Dallas, Texas passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2018 in Bedford, Texas of natural causes. He was born October 12, 1922 to Laurence and Norma Harris in Dallas, Texas. Norman married Margaret Jackson on May 31, 1942 in Durant, Oklahoma. He worked with George Dahl Architects and Engineers for 21 years, Braniff Airlines for 15 years, and University Computing Company for 5 years. Norman was a member of the Hix 5 Bowling League.He is survived by his daughters, Cynthia J. Harris and son-in-law Ace G. Polson, Jr. of Haslet, Texas; Patricia J. Craig of Euless, Texas; and son, Norman F. Harris II (Rick) and daughter-in-law Debbie Harris of Plano, Texas. He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret A. Harris; his parents, Laurence and Norma Harris; son-in-law, Rusty Craig; 3 brothers; and 3 sisters.Norman was always giving glory to his beloved Lord Jesus! He loved model trains, coin and stamp collecting, a music fanatic, and his beloved dog Josie. Norman was always interested in learning other peoples stories and was generous to a fault. He was sometimes tough and emotional, but in the end always had the kindest heart. Norman always wanted everyone to feel important and comfortable.A funeral service for Norman will be on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 10:00 AM in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
