Nova Anne Sherwood's Obituary
SHERWOODM NOVA ANNE (BROWN) Passed away on March 21, 2011 after a brief illness. Born prematurely two days before Christmas in 1928, she caught pneumonia at birth and defied the odds to live 82 years. She followed her sister, Katherine to Phillips University in Enid, Oklahoma where she received a degree in Christian Education. Sherwood, Jr, her husband of 53 years. A lover of books, music and learning, she instilled these joys in her children, Liese Sherwood-Fabre, John C. Sherwood and Martha Treber; her step daughter, Robin Moore and her grandchildren, Staci Moore, Alexander Treber, Luis Paul Fabre, III, Carlos Fabre and Fernanda Fabre. She is survived by her sister, children and grandchildren. Services will be held Friday, March 25 at 3:00 with visitation beginning at 2:00PM at Restland Wildwood Chapel. The family has requested donations to Phillips University’s Legacy Foundation in Enid, Oklahoma.
