Oanh Dao Nguyen's Obituary
NGUYEN, OANH DAO June 1,1938 ‘ March 20, 2007 Qanh Dao Nuyen was born in Hung Yen, Viet Nam to Mr. Dao Ngoc Hoan and wife Doan Thi Tuc in June 1st, 1938. She married Mr. Toan Ngoc Nguyen, a then lieutenant of the South Vietnam army in June 20th, 1960, and bore his five children. Oanh had been a devoted wife and mother, loved by relatives, friends and neighbors. When South Vietnam fell in 1975 and all officers of the South army were gathered by the North government, she worked tirelessly to keep our family fed and help her husband to escape Vietnam in 1980 to avoid the discrimination in the country. Oanh finally re-united with her family in 1990 in Arlington, Texas. She is survived by her husband, Toan Nguyen; daughter Loan and husband Vinh Nguyen; son Giao; son Khanh and wife Thuy; son Tuan and wife Uyen; son Tu and wife Hanh; grandchildren Gabrielle and Vincent.
