Born on April 5, 1937, to Sam Chrisman and Carolina Eck, Obera was a beacon of warmth, strength, and compassion. Her life was a testament to kindness, resilience, and unwavering love for her family and community. Those who knew her will remember her gentle spirit, her generous heart, and the quiet wisdom she shared with grace.
A visitation to honor Ms. Hipkins will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Restland Wildwood Chapel, beginning one hour prior to the service. The funeral service will follow at Wildwood Chapel, with entombment to take place at Abbey Mausoleum.
Though she is no longer with us in presence, Obera’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. May she rest in eternal peace, reunited with her beloved parents and embraced by everlasting light.
