Odis Lee Beaver's Obituary
Odis Lee Beaver, born August 22nd 1931, transitioned to heaven on July 21st 2018. Odis ( O.D.) was a hardworking man of simple pleasures. He loved a good joke and time spent with his family and friends. Best of all he loved to go fishing and he developed many great relationships while waiting for the fish to bite. A lover of the outdoors, one of the simple pleasures he truly enjoyed, was sitting under the shade of an old oak or pecan tree, enjoying the company of a light breeze and a fat cigar.Odis, one of eleven children is survived by two sisters: Elizabeth Cantrell and Virginia Conner; Four children: Gary Beaver, Ronald Beaver, Susan Neal, and Cathy Phillips; Two Step-children: Charles Hilton and Tonya Simmons; Six Grandchildren: Westley Beaver, Tara Metcalf, Trenton Beaver, Emma Simmons, Noah Phillips, Julia Phillips, and six Great Grandchildren.The family will receive guests at 9 am at Restland Funeral Home 13005 Greenville Ave Dallas, Texas with a graveside service to follow at 10 am.
